The 13th General Assembly of VECONAC (Veterans Confederation of ASEAN Countries) has been held from 25 to 28 April in Jakarta.

The points are :

1. The General Assembly were attended by 110 delegates and observers from member countries and observers from Laos, Myanmar and Timor Leste.
2. The Cambodia Veterans Association (CVA) was admitted as the Regular VECONAC member effective 26 April 2010.
3. The President of the Veterans Legion of the Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) was elected VECONAC President from 2010-2012.
4. The General Assembly adopted 8 Resolutions in line with AEANS vision.
5. Ex-Service Association of Malaysia (ESAM) will be the host of the next 14th VECONAC General Assembly in 2012.
